Short version#

First Commit uses only the cookies and browser storage that it needs to work: to keep you signed in, to keep your wallet connected and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

Device signals#

When you sign up, sign in and do important actions, the site reads some technical details from your browser (screen size, time zone, language, platform, client hints). We use them only to prevent fraud, to enforce one account per person and, on obfuscated competitions, to tell a person in a browser from an automated tool (see the obfuscated competitions policy). The privacy policy, sections 2 and 3, explains this.

Your choices#

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you cannot sign in.
